By accessing or using LinkGuard, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

LinkGuard is an automated backlink monitoring service that scans external web pages to detect the presence, status, and attributes of hyperlinks pointing to your specified URLs.

3. Account & Authentication

You must sign in via GitHub or Google OAuth to use the service
You are responsible for all activity under your account
You must not share your account credentials

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use LinkGuard to:

Monitor URLs you do not own or have permission to monitor
Abuse the scanning infrastructure or attempt to overload it
Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code
Resell access to the service without written permission

5. Plan Limits

Free Plan: Up to 50 monitored links
Pro Plan: Unlimited monitored links
We reserve the right to adjust plan limits with 30 days notice

6. Disclaimers

LinkGuard uses automated web crawling to detect link status. Results may occasionally be inaccurate due to bot protection, rate limiting, or CMS caching on the source page. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy.

7. Limitation of Liability

LinkGuard is provided "as is". We are not liable for any SEO losses, business damages, or data loss arising from use of the service. Our liability is limited to amounts paid to us in the 90 days preceding a claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms without notice. You may cancel your account at any time.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
